Lots of money spent for maintenance and to keep it running properly!
Mileage: 98.000 Km/61K miles.
My aim is to reach 100K kilometres in 2026 and it's almost there, as visible from pictures of the speedometer. I bought it new in Italy in 1982 and brought it to UK in 2019.
Unrestored factory engine and body. Metallic silver grey.
This was the final model 180-degree crankshaft, with gear lever on the left and hydraulic clutch.
V5C registration document.

One of the very few "original" TS 1200 Mirage available in UK in such great condition thanks to dedicated and attentive maintenance!!!
I am a member of I.L.O.C. Laverda International Owner's Club.
Only 3.000 miles done since last engine service: pistons cleaning, valves/shims cleaning & registration, new camshaft chain, new triplex primary chain, new rear chain and sprockets. Tank treated inside with anti-rust for prevention. All works done by a respected classic bikes specialist.
New in 2026: carburettors ultrasonically cleaned and balanced, Yuasa 53030 battery, spark plugs, coils, wiring from pick-ups, engine oil, brake pads.
Tires in excellent condition.
Exhausts in excellent condition as they were replaced with new original Lafranconi in Italy 14 years ago!
Lately was also added a very reliable side stand made in Scotland!
The bike runs perfectly as it should with perfect idling too!!!
My bike was registered at the Historical National Registry of F.M.I. the Italian Motorcycling Federation, with original document to prove this!
The TS Mirage 1200 was built mainly for the UK and USA markets, therefore the speedometer is in both kilometres and miles.
(Only 52 were sold in Italy in 1982 and this is one of the last batch!).
Reason for sale: Regrettably my health does not help me riding my pride & joy anymore as I would, and therefore the time has come to say goodbye to my beloved Mirage. It will be very sad for me to see it go!
